Our newly refreshed spa allows you to enjoy a sunny atmosphere even when the sky is grey. Children will find even more amusements on hand as a new, free play area has been built in the Spa Hotel: Nippe-Norsun Vekaraviidakko. The refreshed and refurbished spa and hotel and Härmä Golf welcome visitors all summer. The fitness center in the Anssi-Jussi Arena offers excellent opportunities for indoor sports, and the surroundings have a wide array of outdoor routes.
The annual Power Truck Show in Kauhava is the event for transportation industry professionals and enthusiasts. The biggest and more extensive transportation industry event in the Nordic countries, the Power Truck Show is held in August in Härmä PowerPark. The annual event draws over 30,000 visitors interested in the transportation industry and in customized and paint trucks. The Power Truck Show has consolidated its position as an effective and high-quality event among exhibitors. They come to this event year after year to present and to raise the profile of their companies.
Tractor Pulling Härmä attracts the toughest and most magnificent tractors every year to try their best to see if they have what it takes at the Alahärmä racetrack. Tractor Pulling is an entertaining motor sport where tractors and other towing vehicles pull a sledge as far as possible down a mud track.
Kauhava offers the Knife and Handicrafts Festivals and the Härmäläiset Häjyylyt Festival for those looking for cultural attractions as well as for those interested in knife manufacture and our häjy traditions. The Kortesjärvi summer days and Ylihärmä days also offer something to see and do. A significant cultural attraction in Alahärmä, Kauhava is the Galleria Palmu, which showcases the paintings, oils and graphics of the artist Juhani Palmu.
